CP acquired the Canberra, a 1959, 9-unit apartment, in 2012 for $133,333/unit. Through improved management and unit renovations, CP completed a cashout refinance in 2015 returning 130% of investor’s initial equity. CP sold the asset in 2017 for 2.3x the purchase price.
